I grew up going to thrift stores with my Mum. ‘finding’ things amongst all sorts of disparate objects and bits and pieces continues to be joyful to me. This little work is a world inside a thrift store pin box, made with flotsam from my studio table, the lid etched into with a pin. 
 
I live on Jagera and Turrbal country in Australia. In my work I push materials into unusual places and strive to get out of the way, see if I can surprise myself and hopefully others! Making work is the main way I get all the things inside and outside together in one place, seen.
