I found this wooden block in a thrift store, the tennis ball piece in a park- the colour jumping up from the dry ground (it’s been washed!). Makes me think of maps and being way above the earth and how harmonious very different things can be when given the chance. 
 
I live on Jagera and Turrbal country in Australia. In my work I push materials into unusual places and strive to get out of the way, see if I can surprise myself and hopefully others! Making work is the main way I get all the things inside and outside together in one place, seen.
