In Between Days depicts a solitary ghostly figure traversing a wooded landscape. Working on this miniature scale demanded a decisiveness in colour palette and a certainty of touch so as to not muddy the reduced surface.
 
Caroline Thomson is an Artist based in London, graduate of Turps Off Site programme, and MA graduate of Chelsea College of Art. Her oil paintings draw on the rich artistic and literary history of woodlands which act as a metaphor for retreat or transformation. Her work has been exhibitited widely.
