Jackie Berridge’s paintings and drawings are inspired by childhood memories and fairy
stories. Drawing on her inner child she creates imagined landscapes populated by hybrid creatures. Bear Man is a new member of the cast and it’s been great to focus on individuals for the Miniature Masters exhibition.

Jackie Berridge graduated in fine art (NTU), later studying children’s book illustration (MA at Cambridge School of Art). She combines the painterly qualities of her abstract work with narrative skills learned making picture books. She has exhibited nationally and internationally; her most recent solo show being in Athens (2024-5).
