Painting in miniature was an Alice in Wonderland experience – squeezing the images of trees and plants into a small area without losing a sense of space.
 
Jane Merriman is a London-based painter, whose work mixes elements of the everyday – plants, gardens, objects – with landscape. She was part of the Turps Correspondence Course and Turps Offsite Course.
