Twilight sees diurnal light dissipating, replaced with pensive intimacy, the women collectively-speaking are us. I’ve a larger painting, similar composition that boasts majority warm hues, here the palette is quiescent. Compressing a joyful energy, the strokes shimmer, as much as the women, united by dance and generational hope.
 
There are elements of joy, saccharine and the sublime that Chloe S Moncrieff explores.  Informed by quotes she jots down or words she writes, her weaving vistas and pulsating vignettes have just exhibited in "wandering lights," curated by Nico Kos Earl and Katie Heller at Paul Smith Mayfair, finishing April.
