Gigi Francis is a London-based visual artist exploring identity and duality, often using recycled materials. Her practice navigates intersections of belonging as an immigrant, womanhood after motherhood, neurodivergence and mental health, expressing the creative tension and harmony in these layered aspects of her life.
 
This miniature aims to evoke a sense of ambiguity, to capture a place between worlds where transformation is both a struggle and a discovery. The challenge and fun of working small for was in getting the composition right with a lot less room to create interest and tension.
