Painted in a tiny yellow tin the painting is a landscape with a figure fishing & a dog. The painting depicts the fleeting feeling of getting caught in an autumn shower. The yellow tin is a multipurpose type of tin you might have on a boat or in your pocket.
 
Gwen Ramsay was born in Canada and lives in London. She studied at the Chelsea College of Arts. Her multidisciplinary practice explores environmental themes. Gwen experiments with materials and texture in paintings that hover between painting and drawing.
