I want my small scale work to have all the same energy as my large paintings, but concentrated. A tiny work is an intimate object that draws you in, where you can see the whole painting at once. 
 
Julie Caves is a Margate-based artist. She is interested in still life, either painting from observation or focussing just on the light and colour of objects. She has an MA from Camberwell College of Art and completed the 2-year Turps Studio programme in 2019. She exhibits regularly.
